The Cemracs'07 will be held at the CIRM (Luminy, France) from the 23rd of July to the 31st of August, 2007.
This year's Cemracs is devoted to pre and post proecessing aspects of numerical simulation, including mesh generation and adaptation, error estimation, scientific visualisation, etc.
It will consist of two consecutive events:
- i) a one week summer school (July 23 - July 30)
- ii) a five weeks research center (July 30 - August 31)
Cemracs'07 research center will host several research projects on the topics of applied mathematics and scientific computation, sponsored by industrial or public research funds. One or two young researchers (PhD students) are invited to work on each project under the supervision and help of senior scientists. The projects will start during the summer school and last until the end of August.

Le Cemracs 2007 se déroulera au CIRM à Marseille-Luminy du 23 juillet au 31 août 2007.
Le thème de cette année concerne les aspects de pré et post traitement en calcul scientifique, et notamment la génération et l'adaptation de maillage, les estimations d'erreur, la visualisation scientifique.
Cet évènement se déroulera en deux temps :
- i) une école d'été (du 23 au 30 juillet)
- ii) un centre de recherches (du 30 juillet au 31 août)
Le Cemracs 2007 comprendra un certain nombre de projets de recherche parrainés par des bourses de recherche publiques ou privées. Deux ou trois jeunes chercheurs seront mobilisés par projet, sous la responsabilité et l'assistance d'un chercheur senior. Les projets débuteront après la période de cours de l'école d'été (le 1er août) et se termineront le 31 août. Pendant la première période, des séminaires et exposés seront proposés en dehors des cours.
