The SMAI Prizes
- Jean Jacques Moreau Prize, created in 2019 by the SMAI and the SMF under the patronage of the French Académie des Sciences.
- Marc Yor Prize in Probability, created in 2016 by the SMAI and the SMF under the patronage of the French Académie des Sciences.
- Jacques-Louis Lions Prize, created in 2003 by the SMAI with the support of the Association Colloque Jacques-Louis Lions, of the INRIA and of the CNES.
- Blaise Pascal Prize, created in 1984 by the SMAI and the GAMNI.
- >Louis Bachelier Prize created in 2007 by Natixis and the SMAI.
- Lagrange Prize, created in 1998 at the initiative of the SMAI, the SEMA (Spain), the SIMAI (Italy), as part of ICIAM.
- Maurice Audin Prize, under the patronage of the SMAI and the SMF.
- SMAI 2008 Prize in radiative transfer (exceptionnal prize created by the SMAI in 2008).
- PhD prize of thematic group SMAI-GAMNI.
- Jacques Neveu PhD prize of thematic group SMAI-MAS.
- PGMO PhD prize with the participation and the scientific patronage of the ROADEF and the SMAI (thematic group SMAI-MODE).
- Jean-Pierre Demailly Prize for Open Science in Mathematics created in 2023 by the SMF, the SMAI and the SFdS, in association with the Epijournal de Géométrie Algébrique.
Besides, the SMAI, in collaboration with the INRIA, organizes every year, since 2003, a ceremony in honor of the winners of the prizes awarded by the French Académie des Science in computer science and applied mathematics, under the high patronage of the French Académie des Sciences.
