La Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard (FMJH) lance l’appel à
candidature 2026 du
prix Pierre Lamoure. Ce prix d’un montant de 10.000 euros
récompense un travail de recherche mathématique post-doctoral,
en relation directe avec un problème issu du monde
socio-économique.
Pourquoi ce prix ? S’il est crucial que des prix récompensent les
prouesses d’ingéniosité et de créativité nécessaires à la
production d’une recherche fondamentale originale en
mathématiques, il est tout aussi important que le monde académique
se préoccupe d’encourager des jeunes mathématiciens et
mathématiciennes à prendre le risque scientifique de s’investir
dans la recherche en interface avec le monde socio-économique. Le
prix Pierre Lamoure a vocation à récompenser un travail novateur
dans ce domaine, évalué suivant les critères académiques habituels
mais aussi sous l'angle de son impact sur le plan économique ou
sociétal. Les candidatures sont à déposer en ligne (possiblement
