Chères et chers collègues,
Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la prochaine édition du Congrès des Jeunes Chercheur·e·s en Mathématiques Appliquées (CJC-MA 2026), organisé à l’initiative de la SMAI, qui se tiendra du 2 au 4 mars 2026 à l'école nationale des ponts et chaussées à Champs-sur-Marne.
Le CJC-MA s’adresse prioritairement aux doctorant·e·s, post-doctorant·e·s et jeunes chercheur·e·s en mathématiques appliquées. Ses objectifs sont de favoriser leur intégration dans la communauté scientifique, de donner de la visibilité à leurs travaux et d’encourager les échanges avec des chercheur·e·s confirmé·e·s. Le programme inclura notamment :
- un accueil des jeunes chercheur·e·s,
- cinq sessions parallèles organisées par thématiques,
- un espace posters pour la présentation des travaux,
- trois conférences plénières, données par : Clément Cancès (Inria Lille), Elsa Cazelles (CNRS/IRIT Toulouse) et Laurent Mazliak (LPSM Jussieu),
- une table ronde,
- un cocktail et un dîner convivial.
La participation au congrès est entièrement gratuite et quelques bourses pour l'hébergement et le transport seront attribuées. Toutes les personnes intéressées sont invitées à s’inscrire à partir du 10 Novembre 2025 et avant le 13 Février 2026 et/ou à soumettre une candidature pour une communication orale de 20 minutes et/ou un poster au plus tard le 23 Janvier 2026.
Les posters et abstracts sont à rédiger en anglais afin de permettre à l’ensemble des participant·e·s de les comprendre. En revanche, lors des sessions parallèles, chacun·e pourra présenter son travail en anglais ou en français, selon sa préférence. Enfin, les conférences plénières seront données en anglais, tandis que la table ronde se déroulera en français.

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the upcoming edition of the Congress of Young Researchers in Applied Mathematics (CJC-MA 2026), organized on the initiative of SMAI. The congress will be held from March 2nd to 4th, 2026, at the école nationale des ponts et chaussées in Champs-sur-Marne.
The CJC-MA is primarily aimed at PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, and young researchers in applied mathematics. Its goals are to foster their integration into the scientific community, give visibility to their work, and encourage exchanges with established researchers. The program will include:
- a welcoming session,
- five parallel sessions organized by theme,
- a poster session,
- three plenary lectures, given by: Clément Cancès (Inria Lille), Elsa Cazelles (CNRS/IRIT Toulouse), and Laurent Mazliak (LPSM Jussieu),
- a roundtable discussion,
- a cocktail reception and a dinner.
Posters and abstracts are to be written in English to ensure all participants can understand them. However, during the parallel sessions, presenters may speak in either English or French, according to their preference. Finally, the plenary lectures will be given in English, while the roundtable will be conducted in French.
Participation in the congress is completely free, and a few grants for accommodation and travel will be awarded. All interested persons are invited to register from November 10th, 2025, until February 13th, 2026, and/or to submit an application for a 20-minute oral presentation and/or a poster by January 23rd, 2026, at the latest.
